iLinc Presentations
Benefit education is pleased to announce a new way to attend presentations using iLinc, DAS Web and audio conferencing tool.
iLinc allows you to attend live presentations at your work site or your home. You view a PowerPoint presentation, supporting documents and Web sites while listening to the presenter on the phone. You can ask questions during the session. You only need access to the Internet and a phone.
The iLinc Presentations site has more information about the presentations including the schedule and registration.
New Employee Benefit Orientation
Benefit orientation presentations for new employees are available using iLinc. The new employee benefit orientation consists of two presentations.
| Health and Other insurance Benefits | An overview of the health, dental, flexible spending, life and long term disability benefits available to employees. |
| Introduction to Retirement Investors' Club (RIC) | A presentation illustrating the features and benefits of the State of Iowa Retirement Investors' Club (RIC) (deferred compensation program.) |
Participation in these sessions is not limited to new employees. Any employee may attend a presentation. The Introduction to RIC presentation is an excellent session for anyone not currently enrolled in deferred compensation.
Additional information about the these presentations is available at the New Employee Benefit Orientation site.
On-Site Benefit Presentations
DAS benefit staff are available for on-site benefit presentations to agencies or departments. The presentation can be a stand-alone session or part of a staff meeting. More than one presentation at a location can be made to accommodate staffing levels or work shifts. Presentations can be edited if time is limited.
The current on-site presentations are available at the On-site Benefit Presentations site.
If interested in having a HRE benefit staff member come to your department or location, contact your supervisor or personnel assistant.
