This is the experienced level of the series where position incumbents perform all technical engineering/architectural duties in the design, inspection, maintenance and operation of various state operated facilities, except those required to be performed by a registered professional engineer or licensed architect. Position incumbents perform assignments within operational policies/guidelines established by the agency and function with limited supervision and oversight.
At this level of the series the position incumbents are required to have current licensure as a professional engineer or registration as an architect by applicable State of Iowa licensing/registration boards.
