LAND SURVEYOR SERIES

CLASSES IN THE SERIES

SERIES CONCEPT

Positions that require professional registration in the State of Iowa in order to perform Land Surveying work.

EXCLUSIONS

Positions working on survey crews which are not required to have professional licensure (i.e.,-Engineering, Aides, Survey Party Chiefs, etc.)

CLASS DISTINCTIONS

Land Surveyor

Provides oversight of a Land Survey party which is assigned to a Transportation Regional Office.

Land Surveyor Senior

Oversees the activities of the right of way section of a Transportation Regional Office.
